Welcome

Welcome!  I’m so glad you are here!

If you’re arriving here via my old blog, well then its good to see you lovely.  Perhaps you’ve arrived through my interview at Liz Lamoreux’s Be Present Be Here Blog, then I’m totally giddy and humbled that you’ve joined me here. Or maybe you’re an old friend who’s checking out my site, or maybe your my mom (who rocks). However it is that you came to be here, I’m glad you took the time!

It was a complete blast to do that interview at Liz’s Blog.  I could have done about 10 photos for each question! I love the process of answering questions in images.

In getting ready for this photo task, I found myself returning to a habit that I loved while I was living in California.  To go out every evening when the light is rich and take some photos or self-portraits.  In Cali it was this beautiful park-like cemetery that I’d spend hours wandering in. I’ve missed that.  These days its a nearby ravine that is beautiful and quiet and prompts self-portrait taking.  Most nights in the last week I’d just take a half an hour and go take photos and its really done wonders for getting the creative photo juices flowing.

Here’s some other tales of early evening light:
